 Blanchard and Calhoun Commercial of Augusta, Georgia, is the development and leasing partner for Carolina Crossroads music and family entertainment center. This location will be the East Coast’s newest destination for family fun, music, shopping and entertainment. The owners have invested in and control 1,000 acres of land fully zoned, entitled, and all infrastructure is in place for Phase I. This first phase consists of 129 acres. The first venue is the brand new Roanoke Rapids Theatre. This live theater is a 1,500 seat state of the art entertainment center. The theatre opened in July of 2007 and continues to have great family entertainment.
The 147 room Hilton Garden Inn is located at the entrance to the entertainment complex. This hotel was developed by B&C Southeast Hospitality, a nationally recognized hotel development company and opened for business in early 2008.
An RV resort has opened adjacent to the outdoor amphitheatre. It has 110 beautiful sites with full 50 amp hook ups, handicapped access throughout the park and free Wi-fi internet access.
Carolina Crossroads plans to have 25,000 square feet of retail, shops and restaurants which will include a 17,000 SF DeVitto’s Rotisserie Bar & Grille complete with a stage for live entertainment. Also the vision is to be the home of 300,000 sq. ft. of outlet retail stores. The specialty retail will include tourist destination shops from ice cream stores to an "olde time" photo shop.
Three outparcels have been pre-sold to restaurant groups and the owners are now marketing the most viable sites fronting highway 125 in front of the new Hilton Garden Inn. In lines sites, pad sites and outparcels can be custom tailored.
Carolina Crossroads is actively seeking themed users such as water-park hotels, synthetic ski slopes, marine aquariums, and other family entertainment venues! The current vision includes plans for more live entertainment theaters with themes such as off broadway shows, dinner theaters, and cultural themes.
